Faxing from Microsoft Exchange just gets easier and easier...
London, UK, 20th March 1997 - GFI, one of the first companies to release a fax application which completely integrates with Microsoft Exchange, released the new version of FAXmaker for Exchange this week. The latest version includes many extra features such as improved fax viewing, fax annotation, possibility to attach Word documents, support for Exchange 5 and support for ISDN. Now faxing from Exchange truly is easy!
Apart from the new and improved faxing tools, FAXmaker for Exchange 4.03 also offers the possibility to send faxes using the Internet as an inexpensive backbone between fax servers. Nicholas Galea, Managing Director of GFI sees significant potential in this new feature: “Because more and more organizations are starting to ‘rent out’ fax servers all over the world, the Internet fax routing function will not only benefit large international companies, but also the smaller companies.”
An evaluation version of FAXmaker for Exchange 4.03 is available for download from the GFI website (http://www.gfi.com). For existing FAXmaker for Exchange clients, the latest update is free of charge. Nicholas Galea explains that he finds it important to give existing clients access to these kind of upgrades: “We are continually upgrading and improving our products, and lay importance in the fact that we can provide our clientele with the latest technology”.
